Anthony Ropp

Anthony worked on colloidal catalysis with metal-containing nanoparticles. He focused in particular on cobalt-based materials.

Léna

Léna Meyniel
PhD student (PhD defense on September 28, 2023)
Léna had a keen interest in nanotechnology, and in her PhD project co-supervized by Natacha Krins (RMES team), she studied novel composition for nanoparticles to understand the interface of these semiconductors with liquids. She then went working in the management and funding of innovation.

Cyprien Poucin

Cyprien studied metal oxide nanoparticle synthesis and reactivity with small molecules.

Rémi

Rémi André
PhD student and Post-doctoral fellow (PhD defense on October 7, 2021)
After a PhD in the team, Rémi stayed on for a few months to pursue his work on metal oxide and metal carbide nanoparticles for catalytic applications. He left the team in the spring 2022 to join the Max Planck Institute for Colloids and Interfaces as a post-doctoral fellow.

Antoine

Antoine Pesesse

After a master thesis on copper nanoparticles and metal-free hydrosilylation, Antoine worked on tuning the reactivity of metal nanoparticles. He pursued his career by being hired as a research engineer at LRCS in Amiens.

Alberto

Alberto Palazzolo
Post-Doctoral Fellow, left the team in 2021
Alberto studied the design of metal-containing nanoparticles, such as alloy and core-shell structures, and their activity in colloidal catalysis, in the ERC NanoFLP project. He was then hired as a research engineer at the Nexdot company.

Alexy

Alexy De Jesus Almeida Freitas
Post-Doctoral Fellow, left the team in 2021
Alexy's work dealt with monitoring the surface reactivity of nanoparticles by a combination of in situ spectroscopies, in the framework of the ERC NanoFLP project. He then shifted gears to work for a company dealing with AI.

Kim

Thi Kim-Chi Le
PhD student (PhD Defense on October 7, 2020)
Kim project aimed at preparing new nanoparticles containing molybdenum and lighter elements. She pursued her career as post-doctoral fellow at LCMCP, working on a industrial project with a major cosmetic industry.

Ahn-Minh

Anh-Minh Nguyen
PhD student (PhD Defense on October 8, 2019)
Minh worked at the interface of chemistry (at LCMCP) and biology (at Institut Mondor/INSERM) on safe-by-design emerging nanoparticles. He was then hired as a researcher at Nexdot, a company dealing with quantum dots technologies.

Nadège

Nadège Rey
PhD student from ENSCM (PhD Defense on March 20th, 2019)
Nadège worked in an international project (French and Japanese teams) that aimed at producing self-assembled 2D and 3D functional materials. She then went to work for a R&D company (Enwires).

Xavier

Xavier Frogneux
Post-Doctoral Fellow, left the team in 2018
The first project of Xavier was focused on understanding and tuning the reactivity of metal nanoparticle's surfaces, from 2016 to 2018. Xavier then worked in the team Nano on a project in collaboration with a major cosmetic industry. He moved forward and joined L'Oreal as a Research Engineer.

Guillaume

Guillaume Crochet
Master student in 2018
As a master student, Guillaume worked on nanoparticles synthesis (carbides and phosphocarbides). Afterward, he worked as a PhD student under the supervision of David Portehault in the team Nano.

Florian

Florian D'Accriscio
Post-doctoral Fellow, left the team in 2018
Florian's project dealt with metal carbide and metal phosphide nanoparticles and the study of their reactivity. Florian went to work in the field of Lithium batteries at Enwires.

Clément

Clément Larquet
PhD student (PhD Defense on Tuesday, September 25th 2018)
Clément worked between LCMCP and IMPMC and he studied metal oxysulfide nanoparticles. He pursued his career as a research engineer at L'Oréal.

Camille

Tsou-Hsi Camille Chan-Chang
PhD student (PhD Defense on October 18, 2017)
Camille studied boron and phosphorus-containing metal nanoparticles. Afterward, she worked as a research engineer in the team.

Debora

Debora Ressnig
Post-doctoral Fellow, left the team in 2015
Debora studied metallic and metal carbide nanoparticles. She pursued her career as a Research Scientist at Dow Chemicals in Switzerland.

Mario

Mario Avila Gutierrez
Master student, left the team in 2015
Mario studied lanthanide oxysulfide nanoparticles. He then moved on to an internship in Belgium, then started a PhD programm at Sorbonne Université, which he completed in 2019.
